1. Scope
Welcome to Cardeyra (“Cardeyra”). These terms are an agreement between you and “卡栖 Cardeyra 开发者” (the “developer”) on the use of the Cardeyra app and this website. By downloading, installing or using Cardeyra you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.
Cardeyra is distributed through the Apple App Store, so the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies. If these terms conflict with the Apple standard EULA, the Apple standard EULA prevails for matters concerning the Apple platform and the App Store.
2. License
The developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Cardeyra on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- copy, modify, rent, sell or distribute Cardeyra;
- reverse engineer, decompile or try to obtain the source code (except where the law expressly allows it);
- circumvent technical limits, permissions or usage quotas;
- use Cardeyra or its server for illegal activity or to harm the rights of others.
3. Accounts
An account is optional. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email verification code. Keep your sign-in credentials safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app or on the website. If we find abuse of the service, circumvention of quotas or violation of these terms, we may restrict or disable the account or device concerned.
4. Subscriptions and purchases
- Cardeyra's core features are free. Pro offers 16 advanced features and can be purchased in two ways: Lifetime (a one-time purchase, yours to keep) and Yearly (an auto-renewing subscription). Prices are those shown by the App Store for your region.
- The yearly subscription renews automatically each year: unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, Apple charges your Apple Account within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it at any time in Settings on your iPhone → your Apple Account → Subscriptions; after cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the current period.
- Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
- Payments and refunds are handled by Apple and follow Apple's policy (you can apply at reportaproblem.apple.com); we cannot refund App Store purchases directly.
- You can use Restore Purchases or sign in to your account to use a purchased Pro entitlement on your other devices and platforms.
5. Your content and data
The data you enter in Cardeyra belongs to you, and we claim no ownership of it. It is stored on your device and in your own iCloud, so please keep your own backups (for example with iCloud sync or WebDAV backup). Deleting the app or a damaged device may cause the on-device data to be lost. How we handle information is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. AI recognition is for reference only
Screenshot recognition (especially AI recognition) can make mistakes, miss items or misread text. Results are for reference only; please check amounts, dates and billing cycles before saving. You are responsible for decisions you make based on them.
7. Price watching and third-party information
Price watching, store quotes, popular plans, exchange rates and similar information come from Apple, public web pages or public third-party interfaces. It may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date and can change at any time; what the App Store actually shows and charges prevails. Cardeyra only records and reminds: it does not charge, renew or cancel subscriptions for you, and it is not responsible for the prices or availability of third-party services.
8. Acceptable use
You may not send excessive requests to, attack or probe our server, abuse interfaces such as AI recognition or price lookups with automation, upload unlawful or infringing content, or try to access other users' data.
9. Intellectual property
The intellectual property in the Cardeyra app, website, brand, icon and interface design belongs to the developer or its licensors. Apple, App Store, iPhone and iCloud are trademarks of Apple Inc. These terms grant you no trademark rights.
10. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardeyra is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and without any guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free or that data will never be lost.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use of or inability to use Cardeyra (including data loss, a missed renewal or extra charges), and the developer's total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for Pro. Liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (for example for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, personal injury, or statutory rights under consumer protection law) is not affected.
12. Changes to and termination of the service
We may adjust, suspend or end part or all of the service (for example server features) and will try to give notice in advance. You can stop using Cardeyra and delete your account at any time. After termination, the data already on your device remains under your control.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding its conflict-of-law rules). If you are a consumer and the mandatory consumer protection rules of the place where you live give you greater protection, those mandatory rules prevail. Disputes arising from these terms should first be resolved through friendly consultation; failing that, either party may bring proceedings before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will publish the new version and its effective date on the website. Continuing to use Cardeyra means you accept the update; if you do not agree, stop using it, and you may delete your account.
